First meeting of the new Board of Commissioners to the Crofting Commission.

All six elected and 3 appointed Commissioners met for the first time today in Great Glen House, Inverness.  Commissioners had a chance to have an informal chat and get to know each other over coffee.

When the introductions were over they wasted no time in getting down to business with the morning being taken up meeting Scottish Government officials to discuss the future of crofting legislation.   In the afternoon Commissioners considered how to work together as a Board.

Commissioners will hold their first Board Meeting tomorrow, Wednesday 29 March in Great Glen House.
