The Crofting Commission regulates
and promotes the interests of crofting in Scotland
to secure the future of crofting.


The Crofting Commission has a responsibility to keep under general review all matters relating to crofts and crofting conditions.  To this end, the Commission responds to consultations relevant to crofting and land use matters; these can include planning, environmental, and housing issues. 

The Commission's responses to public consultations will be available to view on the organisation's website eg consultations by the Scottish Government can be found at www.consult.gov.scot or the Scottish Parliament at www.parliament.scot
