Anyone who buys croft land must notify the Commission. This applies whether it is part or the whole of the croft that is purchased and includes tenants who purchase all or part of their croft.
If different areas of the same croft are bought by different people the new owner(s) of each part must complete a Notification Form and send it to us. You should also inform us of any change to your contact details.
Please ensure you submit your Registers of Scotland (RoS) Registration Application form along with your application, if required.
Please note that when you are completing the Registration Application for RoS you are required to advise them of persons who own/occupy any adjacent croft or land, as our ROC is not mapped based the Commission cannot assist you with this information.
