Appeals

Our decision or determination of an application can be appealed to the Scottish Land Court, George House, 126 George Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4HH, by any person with an interest in the case on any grounds set out in Section 52A of the Crofters (Scotland) Act 1993, as amended.

The appeal must be brought within 42 days from the date of public notification and should be directed to the Scottish Land Court.

Please note it is Commission practice to seek to recover costs incurred in defending an appeal when that appeal is unsuccessful.
