Request for a copy of the map of the land constituting Arinagour Common Grazing as enlarged by decision of the Crofting Commission dated February 2014.

Decision: Refuse 29 December 2021

Having searched our records I can confirm that the Crofting Commission does not hold the information pertaining to your request. As you may be aware the Commission does not hold a map based register for Common Grazings, this is something that is included in the Crofting Register held by the Registers of Scotland. The Arinagour common grazings has not been registered as such we can only confirm the boundary of any apportionments granted by the Commission and any resumptions denoted are a facsimile of the information provided from land court orders. The information regarding the boundaries was previously provided to the Commission by a third party and therefore is only a presumptive record of the boundary, which cannot be verified.
