The Trade Union (Facility Time Publication Requirements) Regulations 2017

The Trade Union (Facility Time Publication Requirements) Regulations 2017 require public sector employers to publish information relating to facility time.  Public sector employers are in scope if they have at least one trade union representative and more than 49 FTE employees. With effect from 2020/21 the Crofting Commission was in scope and facility time information will be published within the 2020/21 Annual Report & Accounts.

Crofting Commission staff are civil servants directly employed by the Scottish Government and seconded to the Crofting Commission.  Crofting Commission trade union representative(s) facility time is also therefore contained within the Scottish Government disclosure which can be viewed through the following link Facility time by Scottish Government trade union representatives: 2022-23 - gov.scot (www.gov.scot)
