Important changes happening within the Commission

24/04/2018

All Crofting Commission email addresses have now changed, don’t worry if you have sent something to an old email address we will still receive it. The old and new email will run in parallel for the next few months.

Our general email address is now info@crofting.gov.scot and all staff will use a role based email address instead of a personalised one. Details can be found on the “Contact Us” page on our website

When you are contacted by a member of staff their name, telephone number and the Commission’s postal address will continue to be displayed at the base of the email/header of our letters.

All application forms on our website will be updated within the next few weeks to reflect this change, and the application forms will also now include a Privacy Notice to comply with the new General Data Protection Regulations which come into force on 25 May 2018.  Our website address will not change at present www.crofting.scotland.gov.uk

One other important update is that due to changes in the shared resources within Great Glen House, from September this year we will no longer be able to receive faxes, so we would appreciate if you previously sent a fax to the Commission to now send the correspondence either by email or by post.  We will issue a reminder about this nearer to the time.

If you have any questions just give us a ring 01463 663439.
