Enlarging Croft Land

Enlargement of a croft is the term used when non croft land is added to an existing croft and becomes part of that croft tenancy. It is important before you apply to check that the extent of the croft, after the non-croft land is added, does not substantially exceed 30 hectares.

Please ensure you submit your Registers of Scotland (RoS) Registration Application form along with your application, if required.

High Volumes of Applications

We currently have a 4 week backlog of applications/enquiries, this is due partly to the high volume of correspondence received and some temporary staffing issues. As a result there will be a delay in acknowledging receipt of your application/answering your enquiry. Be assured that you will hear from us in due course and we appreciate your patience in the meantime.

If you have sent us an enquiry, have you checked our website or ROC Online to see if the answer is there?
